Maryann’s practice focuses on working with the thought leaders of organizations, helping them create the framework of change that will allow their organization to achieve the future state they envision. The organizational and strategic levers that need to be created and manipulated can be widely varied for different organizations, but no organization can ultimately succeed without the appropriate blend of vision, strategy and operational planning, as well as the team to execute it.
Maryann is a transformational executive whose career has focused on strategic performance improvement. Her experience encompasses a diverse set of industries and functional capabilities, including healthcare. She has successfully led the transformation of organizations from subpar performers into high performing teams that have exceeded stretch goals and expectations.
Maryann has utilized the methodologies and techniques developed at Wellesley Partners in her operating roles, applying a dual focus on team and operations to drive results. Prior to rejoining Wellesley Partners after a 7 year break, Maryann was most recently a division CIO at Fidelity where she successfully oversaw the delivery of several large, complex IT projects involving Business Intelligence and large scale data warehousing. Before Fidelity, Maryann consulted to many large organizations, including hospitals, around organizational transformation. Prior to consulting, she was the Chief Operating Officer of a business she grew from $50 million to $250 million in 3 years (Group Disability, Liberty Mutual) and Chief Information Officer at Liberty Mutual.
Maryann was awarded her M.S. in Planning and Control from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management. She is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Dartmouth College.
