Heather’s practice is focused on coaching individuals and teams working within healthcare. While she works with individuals on all levels, her practice sweet spot is dealing with the particular challenges faced by physicians working within large clinical settings.
Heather has over 15 years of experience in the medical field. She worked at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Human Resources as the Manager of Employee Relations. In this capacity, she coached staff members (individuals and teams) to work productively within their area of responsibility. She also worked at BU Medical Center as a member of an interdisciplinary team focusing on Adolescent Medicine. Heather is a trained and certified Executive and Life Coach, through the Coaches Training Institute’s (CTI) Co-Active Life Coaching Training Program. She is also an active Certified Physician Development Coach. Heather works with her clients to help them communicate effectively with others. Heather also focuses on creating integrated approaches, with her clients, aimed at developing a healthy and productive work/life balance.
Heather was awarded her M.A. in Medical Social Work from Boston University. Her undergraduate degree, in Psychology and Legal Studies, is from Bowdoin College.
